A Prayer for Financial Favor and Help from God
Given the current state of the economy, I’m sharing a prayer for financial favor and help from God. When economic forces threaten your financial security, it is easy to get overwhelmed and stick your head in the sand.
For me, I find it comforting to address our concerns and talk about reality. So, I appreciated receiving an email from my wealth mentor yesterday morning, assuring us that we will get through this:
“These are challenging times, times that try your soul. You might feel frustrated about inflation, interest rates and rising prices. Everyone has different financial circumstances, but the trials with the economy are shaking people to their core and survival instincts are kicking in.
Fear levels are high and so is uncertainty.
So, here’s what I want to remind you of right now: you have more power than you think. You can choose to get caught up in the primal fear coming over you and imagine yourself in the worst possible scenario, failing miserably…
Or you can choose to imagine something really good coming after this.
It’s up to you.”
She went on to say how important it is to use the power of your mind to stay focused on positive things and quoted Napoleon Hill, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
Well, it’s a good thing we don’t need to depend on the power of our minds; we depend on the power of God. Hallelujah!
How Do You Receive God’s Favor and Help?
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT tells us, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)
Don’t let the cares this world cause you to forget to lean on God. Always remember God. Also, lean into the peace Jesus offers us.
“In times of uncertainty, peace is our most valuable asset.” Creflo Dollar
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27 NIV)
The peace of God will keep us emotionally stable in unstable times.
Do you need a prayer for financial favor and help from God?
“Heavenly Father, financial stress is the most grueling stress I have ever endured because each worry feels like I’m carrying a tremendous weight on my shoulders. Fear and anxiety about the future torment me every waking moment. But I’m reminded of Your promise that Jesus is a comfort for my weary soul.
Your Word tells me You don’t want me to be stressed about anything. So, when I struggle with financial challenges, I come before You with my burdened heart. In Your presence, I seek peace and relief from the struggle. My heart yearns for the rest that is found only in You.
Encourage my spirit, reminding me that in Your presence, I can endure even the most chaotic financial storms for a time. Reassure me with the knowledge that You see every struggle and feel the sting of every tear.
Cause me to lean into Your promises, where I can find true rest, peace, and eventually deliverance. I choose to trust in Your divine protection, guidance, and provision, even when all I can see in the natural realm is a big, hopeless mess.
I choose to put my focus on You. I choose to walk by faith, not by sight. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.”

CONCLUSION – Remember to Thank God for His Favor and Help
After you pray for financial favor and help from God, don’t undo your prayer by going back to worrying about your finances. Thank Him and praise Him BY FAITH for the financial protection He has promised you:
“Day by day the LORD takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine, they will have more than enough. (Psalm 37:18-19 NLT)
Trusting God and staying in the peace Jesus offers will open the pathways for financial blessings to flow into your life.
