What I Do Daily to Have Strong Faith

Almost every week, I get questions from my readers about what to do when you need a breakthrough. I usually respond with an explanation of what I do daily to have strong faith. In my book, Healing Miracle Secrets, I share many personal stories of how I received healing miracles and in 40 Days of Prayer for My Finances, God Wants You Blessed, and God’s Plan for Your Provision, I share how I received many amazing miracle breakthroughs when I was going through financial struggles.
Right here on my website, I share a lot about what I did when I needed a financial miracle.
But today, I want to share what I currently do to keep my faith strong. The storms of life can strike at any time, and when they do, your faith needs to be solid. Don’t wait until problems strike to start your daily faith-building practice. No, no, you need to start now so you’re ready and able to stand against anything that comes at you.
My daily faith-building routine consists of thirty minutes to two hours of listening to faith messages in the morning, throughout the day, and/or after dinner. It begins first thing in the morning. Sometimes, before I even get out of bed, I grab my phone and play a YouTube video from one of my favorite preachers.
My Favorite Videos to Help You Have Strong Faith
These days, I’m listening to Barry Bennett, the lead instructor at Charis Bible College. Here is one of his videos that has blessed me. I tend to watch his videos several times because each time I do, I get a deeper revelation.

I’ve been listening to Nancy Dufresne for a while now. I have to tell you, there is a powerful anointing on her teachings that will quicken your spirit and ignite your faith.

I wrote a blog post called The Praise Cure, which was inspired by Pastor Nancy’s video teachings. It’s SO powerful, I highly recommend checking it out. Your faith will never be the same. Check out The Praise Cure HERE.
Christian Books I’m Reading to Have Strong Faith
When I’m not listening to a faith-building message or if I need a break from the computer screen, I’ll read a faith-building book. Here are three I am currently reading.
You Have the Advantage: Walking in the Revelation of God’s Covenant of Blessing, Favor, and Strength by Barry Bennett

Here is one of my favorite passages:
“The language of the kingdom is the language of love, faith, hope, and blessing. The born-again believer can declare the words of God and know that the invisible world of the Spirit springs into action on their behalf.” (Page 30)

The Believer’s Authority by Kenneth E. Hagin

Here’s just a snippet of the powerful nuggets in this book:
“The value of our authority rests on the power that is behind that authority. God himself is the power behind our authority! The devil and his forces are obliged to recognize our authority! The believer who thoroughly understands that the power of God is backing him can exercise his authority and face the enemy fearlessly.” (Chapter Two)

Daily Healing Bread From God’s Table: A 60-Day Devotional by Nancy Dufresne

Each chapter is loaded with powerful revelations. Here’s just one:
“Remember, in the wilderness, Jesus always rebuked Satan by speaking the Word; He answered him with the Word. (See Luke 4.) Always agree with the Word – pray the Word. Never repeat in prayer what Satan or fear suggest to your mind. Resist the devil and rebuke fear. You can confess the Word, but if your prayers are fear-motivated, they will open the door to the devil. Don’t get on the negative side, praying against things, but stay on the positive side declaring what is yours in Christ.” (Day 14)

I thank God every day for the plethora of faith-building resources He has made available to the body of Christ. Because of the internet, we can sit at the feet of mighty men and women of God, His prophets, to dig deeper into His Word and secure our promised land.
God’s Word says we perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Well, I certainly don’t want to perish. I want to thrive in all areas of my life. Don’t you?
We are instructed to not conform to the pattern of this world (Romans 12:2), but to do that, we need to stay sensitive to the Word of God. We need to keep feeding on it. Joshua 1:8-9 tells us how to be successful in life:
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV)
Whenever I start to doubt or worry about something, I know immediately I need to go to the Word of God or listen to a faith-building message, and when I do that, worry dissipates.
Conclusion
As believers, we have a lot more control over our emotions and circumstances. In Christ Jesus, we have authority over the devil. But we will never have the faith to receive it if we don’t first know about it. That’s why I prioritize consuming the things of God and His Word so fervently. I want to know everything God wants to show me.
In everything we face, we need to hear from God. There’s an answer to every situation we come up against. We must not rely on our own understanding. But in ALL our ways we need to acknowledge God and He will direct our steps (see Proverbs 3:5-6), and lead us to victory. Hallelujah!
Be blessed, my friend!
