Reaching for Prosperity

As a woman of God, I love studying what the bible has to say about wealth and prosperity. In a nutshell, what it says is that God wants you to prosper in every area of life. He wants us reaching for prosperity.

I’ve been studying The Word long enough that no matter what you say to me, you cannot convince me otherwise.

If God wants me blessed then who am I to resist His goodness toward me?

 

I like how Catherine Ponder puts it:

“When you realize that prosperity is your divine heritage, you should persist in claiming it.”

I wholeheartedly agree with Dr. Michael Murdock:

“You will never possess anything You are unwilling to pursue. It is good to pursue good health, happiness and financial blessings. Your Heavenly Father wants you to experience all the blessings. Get ready today to launch the greatest chapter of your life that you have ever known: BIBLICAL PROSPERITY.”

Here are a few scriptures you can use to declare over your finances. Choose the ones that fit your situation and declare them over your situation.

Soul Prosperity – 3 John 1:2

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth,”

Financial Breakthrough – Deuteronomy 1:11

“May the Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you!”

God wants you to prosper – Psalm 35:27

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Debt Cancellation – Deuteronomy 15:2

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the Lord’s release.

Needs Met – Philippians 4:19

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Blessings Overflowing – Proverbs 3:10

So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Blessed to be a Blessing – Genesis 12:2

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

Power to Get Wealth – Deuteronomy 8:18

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Wealth with No Sorrow Attached – Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

You Shall Lack Nothing – Psalm 23:1, Phil. 4:19

The Lord is my shepherd, and I do not want. There is no lack, for my God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
