5 Steps to Apply These Bible Verses in Your Life

  1. Meditate on the Word Daily
Choose one verse from the list each day and meditate on it. Write it in your journal or on a sticky note (I have sticky notes with Bible verses all over my house), say it aloud, or pray over it. Allow the truth of God’s Word to be planted in the soil of your heart where it will eventually produce a harvest.
  2. Memorize a Verse for Difficult Moments
Pick a verse that resonates with you and commit it to memory. When dealing with six-figure credit card debt all those years ago, I memorized Psalm 23. It blesses me to recite it by memory whenever I want to feel God’s peace wash over me. When you meditate on the Word, it will be easier to memorize it. When challenges arise, you can recall scripture to remind yourself of God’s promises. Memorizing God’s Word strengthens us when we need hope.
  3. Create a Scripture Art Wall
Write these verses on index cards or create digital wall art and display them where you’ll see them often—your desk, bathroom mirror, or fridge. I created this beautiful wall art set for you to print out and enjoy. Also, visit the FREEBIE page to see another version you may enjoy.
  4. Pray the Scriptures
Turn these Bible verses into prayers. For example, when reading Philippians 4:13, pray, “Lord, thank You for giving me strength to face today’s challenges.” Job 22:28 reminds us: “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Prayer is even more powerful when we pray God’s promises out loud over our lives.
  5. Create a List of Your Favorite Bible Verses
I keep lists of God’s promises everywhere: In prayer journals, on my Notes app on my phone and iPad, and in notebooks. That way, I always have His promises near to keep me inspired and full of hope. “Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.” (Jeremiah 30:2 NKJV)

CONCLUSION

Believing God’s promises can change your life forever.

“You can change the whole course of your life by looking at the promises of God and daring to believe them.” —John Osteen

No matter what season of life you’re in, God’s Word always offers hope and encouragement. By incorporating these verses into your daily life, you’ll be reminded of how much God cares for you. The more you go to God’s Word for inspiration and hope, the more you’ll see His power at work in amazing ways.
