Let’s Create a New Money Story

In order to create a new money story, we have to heal our relationship with money. We all tell ourselves stories, but perhaps the ones taking up residence in your head are keeping you broke.
That’s not what God wants for you.
Unless we are intentional about healing our money relationship, we will not see finances flow in our lives, our businesses, or even our ministries.
Let’s create a new money story.
My dear entrepreneurial friend, you will find that prosperity flows more consistently once you’ve done the inner work of healing and aligning your new money beliefs with the divine order of abundance clearly stated in God’s word.
God wants us to prosper, be in good health, and for our soul to prosper. (3 John 1:2)
God does not want us to lack in any good thing (Psalm 34:10), which includes money to take care of our needs and wants. (Phil 4:19)
God wants to give us the ability to produce wealth. (Deut. 8:18)
But to live out these promises first requires that we take our thoughts captive and align our thinking with the word of God.
That means we’ll need to create a new money story.
To that end, here is a prayer to help you overcome your limiting money beliefs and create a new money story:
Dear Father,
Starting today, I choose to put aside all negative, limiting beliefs about my financial circumstances. I open myself to all the wonderful possibilities and miracles that could only come from You because You are the God of the universe. With You all things are possible.
I choose to believe that I am always at the right place at the right time, for You direct my steps. I’m open to prosperous opportunities because You are the God of more than enough. You are my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in You and You help me; therefore, my heart leaps for joy because I choose to believe (Psalm 28:7).
Thank you, Father, that as I declare Your Word over my finances, You are establishing Your blessing over them. Through the power of my words aligned with Your Word, I am giving life to the dead and calling those things which are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).
In Jesus’ name, amen.
