How to finally transform your money story

Which one are you: A Woman of Influence or a Financial Avoider?

According to a national survey, The Allianz Women, Money and Power Study, a Woman of Influence has more earning power than other women, has a good understanding of financial products and is interested in learning about financial matters.

“90% of Women of Influence say increased financial involvement has improved their quality of life.”

A woman of influence would be considered someone who is proactive in her finances whether married, widowed, partnered or single.

Conversely, a Financial Avoider is a woman who is concerned about her current finances and her future financial security but feels too overwhelmed to take the first step in seeking help, so she avoids taking charge of her money. If this is you, don’t feel bad, I used to be in this category, too!

But not any longer!

What changed?

Well, after being left broke and penniless at the end of a fifteen-year relationship with a man who promised that he would always take care of me, and that I would never have to worry about finances, I learned the harsh reality that NO ONE is going to take better care of your financial wellbeing than you.

Ladies, please don’t fall into the trap of being a financial avoider like I was. Going through financial crisis because you didn’t pay attention to your money is something you don’t ever want to experience. It’s the worst kind of stress you’ll ever endure. Trust me on that one.

If you don’t take a stand for your financial wellbeing now, I’m afraid one day you’ll experience the deepest regret imaginable, and I don’t want that to happen to you.
